The Art of Active Creation

Over the last few years there has been a lot of hype about manifestation.  I too jumped on The Secret bandwagon...temporarily, that is.  The reason I jumped off the boat is this:  I feel that the most important element that was missing from these types of teachings was spirit.  The role of our Higher Being actually does play into our successes and seeming failures.  This was the missing piece of the puzzle.  Also, understand that I am simply using The Secret as an example, because as we all know there were teachings upon teachings of the same nature that seemed to flood our space during this time.

As The Secret rolled through, and I started to understand its primary failings, I did start to warn my friends of its possible devastating effect it could have on the economy.  I felt it to be a strong impact and downfall of our economic status in the world.  Crazy as it may sound, I really do feel that so many who fell into the hype did lose a fundamental knowing along the way.  The foundation of our experiences here on this earth is in learning, adapting, and sometimes suffering through to understand the cause and effects of our actions.  These lessons often come to us as if we've been struck by a two by four, yet, these harsh lessons lead us to the beauty of creation.  Teaching us what can work, and what doesn't work.

Therefore in the spirit of lessons, I think that we could use the failings of The Secret to help us understand on a deeper, and spiritual level, the true law of success.

Laughter is Healing Medicine

I was reminded this morning through a friend that when you go through tough times in life, that somehow if you can find a way to laugh, you can feel much better. I totally agree. Silence is Golden

Sometimes in life we are faced with people who betray us and treat us in a harmful way.  Our first instinct when this happens is to lash out.  However, when we do this sometimes we create more harm to ourselves through our anger. I understand how it is to feel betrayed, depressed, lonely, and unloved.  Yet, rise above, and come to the peace within that you ARE a beautiful person.  What others do to you does not need to define who you are!  This is the true lesson here.  In so many ways, we would love to shout from the mountain tops to anyone who will listen... "watch out for that snake, they are going to bite you!!!"  However, unfortunately, if you do this, you will only do harm to yourself.  Because, if you begin to speak from a heart that is injured, chances are you will come to spew gossip that is harmful and beyond the pale.  Through your pain, you will deliver to another's ear hateful words about another.  And yes, you do feel justified in doing so.  Yet, unfortunately you will be creating a dark energy around you that others will feel.  Therefore, do your best to work your way through these tough times and you will see that the phrase "time heals all wounds" is indeed true.  By being patient and quietly working your way through your personal hell you save yourself of the self imposed injury of gossiping about another, cause, what goes around comes around!  Over the last few days, I have experienced a certain hell of which I speak above.  However, I do seek solace in the fact that in due time all truth is revealed.   Therefore, I have decided, through my journey over the past few days that it is important that I honor myself, and understand that my silence is golden.

As always... Love to you,
Pamela

Inner Healing Reflects Outer Beauty

Throughout my life I have met only a handful of people who were truly comfortable in their own skin. When I cross the path of these individuals, I am always left in a state of awe of the beauty that they have attained. This beauty of which I speak is not in the way of physical beauty, this beauty is a glow of the soul reflecting out into the physical world, and it is as if these individuals have a certain glow about their physical being and space. This beauty is one that cannot be easily described, only witnessed. Perhaps you have been privileged to witness such a person. If you have, most likely they have left an imprint upon your soul, leaving you wanting of whatever it is they have. It seems as though these individuals must possess the secret to life. One of the reasons these peaceful people leave us in awe is the fact that on the surface, their life seems ordinary. Yes, some of these individuals have attained much outer success, but dig a little deeper, and one will see that these people have not escaped pain and suffering. They have dealt with the loss of loved ones, betrayal, hardships, loss of money, and so forth. Yet, they have this peace about them, and this peace is palpable. How do they attain this peace and happiness? This is the question that always flows through our being when we cross the path of these individuals.....
